• Apple Blossom Orchard and Market is seeking a hands-on, self-directed leader to oversee orchard care, grounds, maintenance, equipment readiness, seasonal harvest coordination, and upkeep. This ia a working manager role for someone who enjoys the outdoors, takes ownership, solves problems, and wants visible responsibility in a family-owned operation.

   

  This role is ideal for a candidate from landscaping, grounds, horticulture, agriculture, nursery operations, tree care, or a similar outdoor operations environment. A candidate does not need orchard experience to succeed in this role. We are open to strong outdoor operations leaders who can learn orchard-specific details quickly.

   

  Job Description Details:

•     Lead orchard care, pruning, plant, and grounds maintenance, mulching, fertilizing, and weed control
•     Maintain infrastructure such as driveways, drainage, sheds, decks, beds, fences, signage, and trellis systems
•     Keep the shed and shop organized, clean, stocked, and seasonally ready
•    Oversee tractors, trailers, coolers, generators, and related equipment maintenance
•   Supervise picking and packing crews during harvest and coordinate cooler space
•    Assist with deliveries, produce movement, and partner-orchard logistics

•     High character, strong work ethic, and a willingness to own outcomes
•    Comfort working outdoors in all seasons
•   Ability to organize work, prioritize, and lead others
•    Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with equipment
•     Experience in landscaping, horticulture, agriculture, grounds, nursery work, or related outdoor operations is helpful but not required
