2022 Apple Summer Field Day

The Wisconsin Apple Growers Association in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin Extension is holding the annual Apple Field Day, Wednesday, June 29, 2022. The Field Day is hosted by Jeff and Steve Wood, Wood Orchard, 1724 N 14th Ave, Sturgeon Bay.  The program begins at 9:00am 

The Field Day is open to all apple growers and is a good opportunity to ask questions, learn from experts, and talk with other growers. 

To Register: Click on the REGISTER button.  Log in to the Wisconsin Apple Grower Assn website with your email address.  Fill in the appropriate information.  To add additional people from your orchard, click "Add Guest" at the top menu

Cost (includes lunch and refreshments) 

  • $35 / person—Wisconsin Apple Grower orchard/company members 
  • $42 / person—non-WAGA members 

How To Find Wood Orchard 

Wood Orchard is located just north of Sturgeon Bay, Proceed around town on WI- 42 N/WI-57 N.  Stay on WI-42 through the two traffic circles.  Go 1/2 mile and turn LEFT on Gordon Rd (aka Co Rd BB.)  Go about 1 mile and turn LEFT on N 14th Ave.  The farm is on the left.    

Wood Orchard

Founded in 1955, Wood Orchard is now operated by the second and third generations, Jeff and Steve Wood.  The orchard is located just north of Sturgeon Bay in the Door Peninsula.  It has140 acres where they primarily grow apples.
